Working in alignment with the Commercial & Marketing Department and the rest of the sales team, the Sales Engineer will contribute to the commercial success of the department and the achivement of its strategic objectives.
The main responsabilities include identifying sales leads and understanding customers tecnhical needs. The Sales Engineer works closely with the Engineering Department to find the best solution and is responsible for presenting and negotiating it with the costumer.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Follow up on leads identified or proposed by the Commercial & Marketing Department
- Manage projects as a whole, involving bolth the costumer and the internal structure of JPM Industry
- Search for and identify sales leads
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Production Departments to find the best technical solution
- Provide technical support and solutions throughout the customer negotiation process
- Present the ideal technical solution to the costumer, including layouts, commercial proposals, products, and/or systems
- Visit customers to assess their needs and follow up on projects
- Manage any changes requested by the costumer, adjusting the final documentation and proposals to customers
- Ensure that customer expectations are consistently met
- Manage customer relationships in alignment with the principles and values of JPM Industry
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Higher education qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or Industrial Management
- General knowledge of sales and commercial activities
- Experience in the food industry, but, particularly, in intralogistics and industrial robotics
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience – preferred
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks for understanding and modifying layouts
- Good knowledge and experience using ERP systems, preferably PHC
- Very good spoken and written English
- Basic knowledge of French and Spanish
This position requires availability for international travel
