MOBILIZING PROGRAM PRODUTECH 4S&C

The PRODUTECH4S&C mobilizing project, supported by a consortium of 24 co-promoters, including 13 companies and 11 entities from the National Scientific and Technological System (SCTN), has focused on developing transformative solutions aimed at advancing industry towards sustainability and the circular economy. This project empowers the Production Technologies Sector to take a leading role in a global niche: production technologies that support circularity and industrial sustainability.

This demonstration provided an opportunity to showcase some of the tools and technological solutions developed and pre-validated in proof-of-concept stages. These included data-driven sustainability assessment tools, methodologies associated with product development processes, sustainable and modular design approaches, intelligent solutions such as digital twins, edge solutions for smart control, new energy technologies, adaptive and cooperative robotic systems, Industry 4.0 solutions for intelligent logistics, asset and logistics symbiosis, and cooperative planning solutions within the supply chain.

Focused on creating innovative solutions for a circular and sustainable manufacturing industry, the PRODUTECH4S&C Mobilizing Project has integrated an agenda of research and innovation based on challenges identified by the production technology sector, with anticipated impacts on competitiveness, innovation, and international expansion. Given the cross-sector applicability of these solutions, they are expected to have broad, multi-industry impacts.

To mark the conclusion of this project, a demonstration session was held to present some of the results achieved in an industrial setting and to assess the real-world impacts of implementing these solutions. This session took place at JPM Industry on June 29.
